Director, Nominated Individual & Registered Manager

James has worked in the care industry for 16 years and built J & C Healthcare in 2021 to enable him to provide the care in his own way using the knowledge and skills that he has gained over the years. James’ dream has always been to own his own care company and to share his expertise with his team and community.

Darren Bowley-Farleigh

Director & Office Manager

Darren has worked hard alongside James to set up J & C Healthcare. Darren has 4 years experience in care and learnt a lot through the Pandemic and showed a real passion for providing high quality care. During his time at J & C he successfully passed The Six Steps Programme with St Luke’s and gained the verification to support end of life care.

Lauren Moore

Deputy Manager

Lauren has been working in the care sector for 9 years and previously worked with James at another care provider. Lauren joined J&C healthcare from the beginning. Lauren started as a carer in the community, which inspired her to progress her career further. Lauren thrives in helping and supporting others to remain safe and independent whilst receiving care. Lauren says ‘my job role entitles me to work alongside an amazing team and professionals within the care sector as well as providing support and reassurance to colleagues as well as our service users and ensure that we deliver a high standard of care.’

Antonia Warburton

Care Coordinator

Antonia has 15 years plus worth of care experience and before that was caring for family. Antonia has a range of experiences and training under her belt. Antonia has recently qualified for the 6 steps for End of Life care with St Luke’s and will be incorporating that within J&C. Antonia says ‘I like to work as a team and treat people how I like to be treated.’

Sherri Mitchell

Appointments Administrator

Sherri started her journey within care in 2016. The main reason for changing her career was due to caring for her Nan for many years and feeling like something was missing. Within a couple of weeks she realised giving back and ensuring clients are happy, safe and well looked after within their homes is her passion. Sherri says ‘James was a big influence within my care journey & gave me a great opportunity to become an appointment administrator! I support with taking on new clients, scheduling visits, ensuring carers and clients are happy and looked after. I’d like to say I have a great rapport with clients and do everything within my remit to support them (also to have a good natter!)… To know I’m apart of a great team & waking up everyday knowing I’m having a positive impact on someone’s life & ensuring your loved ones are content within their homes is what makes my day.’

Charleene Elliott

Appointments Administrator

Charleene has been working within the care sector for just over 8 years and her care journey started as a domiciliary care assistant. Having experienced the struggles of caring for a loved one with no support inspired Charleene to help others going through similar situations. Charleene says ‘I strive to ensure our clients maintain their independence and wellbeing to enable them to remain in their own homes. It gives me a great sense of achievement knowing our clients and carers are happy and I’m very proud to be a part of a great team :)’

Hollie-Leigh Hardwick

Care Coordinator

Hollie has been working in the care sector for 12 years. She has experience of working with children all the way up to the elderly. Within this she also has a lot of experience working with Veterans. Hollie says ‘I enjoy working as part of the J&C Team because we are one big family and the camaraderie that we all have together is incredible!’

Lisa Farleigh

Recruitment Manager

Lisa has been a part of J&C team since 2023. She has previously been an office manager but this is her first role within the Care industry. Since Lisa started with us she has learnt a lot and is passionate about recruiting caring and reliable carers to join the team. Lisa says ‘I feel that I bring a variety of things to the company including a cheerful attitude within the office and a good eye for recruiting to the team.’

Jackie May

Care Coordinator

Jackie has worked in care for 20+ years both in mental health and the care industry. She has also worked with addictions to drugs and alcohol. Jackie is the mum of the team so brings experience, wisdom and knowledge along with a joke or two and a few laughs along the way. Jackie says ‘I love my job, I love meeting the new clients and I love seeing their journey and being a part of their lives and making a difference. Working for an outstanding company is a pleasure and I am very proud to be a part of the J&C family.’

Rachel Richardson

Care Coordinator

Rachel has worked in care for over 20 years ranging from care homes, NHS, mental health and Domiciliary Care. She has completed a Level 3 NVQ in Health and Social Care and she is currently doing her Level 4. Rachel has spent the past 4 years office based coordinating. Rachel says ‘I absolutely love my job, and have a passion for person centred care. Feeling like you are actually making a positive impact to someone is so rewarding for me.’

Marie Ball

Field Care Supervisor

Marie has been in the Care industry for 20+ years. Marie’s role is to do ‘spot checks’ on carers and care within the community. Marie says ‘I endeavour to ensure that new carers learn the J&C way and provide outstanding care for clients. I support carers as and when required and they come to me if they have any concerns within their role. I love being a part of the J&C team.’

We directly employ all qualified and professional care staff who work to the highest possible standards. All our staff have the best knowledge and experience and you can be assured that all staff are qualified, DBS checked and appropriately trained. We are continuously updating staff training and qualifications.
