- Personal care: meaning anything carried out that is of a personal nature. This may include, but not limited to, bathing & showering, applying creams/lotions, dressing and toileting.
- Getting up and going to bed: all aspects of personal care, continence management and medication administration.
- Domestic and household tasks: routine light cleaning and laundry.
- Meal and food preparation: preparing and cooking a small meal for all of our service users.
- Shopping: simple tasks such as grocery shopping and running errands. Support with shopping (personal, groceries, household items etc), paperwork and attending appointments with you.
- Double handed care: two carer staff attending each visit.
- Night sitting and waking services: we will be available to sit with service users through the night to ensure their safety and for families to have their well-deserved respite sleep without having to worry about their loved one.
– Our staff will be awake and alert at all times should there need to be support needed. We will deliver all personal care and continence management during this time that we are supporting the individual. - Social support: escort to appointments, shopping trips, social events and companionship.
